Curious how people around Ballarat are actually using AI in their work?

The next BRAIN (Ballarat Regional AI Network) AI Applications & Tooling Meetup is on Wednesday 13 May, 6:30–8:00pm at the Ballarat Hackerspace. This month's format is an open come-and-chat session with no formal speaker, just a room full of people sharing what they've been building, experimenting with, and learning. The big screen will be up for anyone who wants to show off a project or a tool they've discovered. Tickets are free, but you'll still need to grab one via TidyHQ.

This isn't an "intro to AI" night. It's aimed at people who are already tinkering. This includes developers, engineers, creators, and business owners who want to swap notes on real workflows, local LLMs, automation, and whatever else is working (or not) in practice. Whether you've been fine-tuning models or created a workflow that saves youtime, bring your laptop and come share it.

The meetup is a collaboration between BRAIN and the Ballarat Hackerspace, happening every month. If you'd like to give a feature talk at a future event, we're actively looking for presenters.
